Melanoma Education Foundation
The American Cancer Society predicts 212,200 new U.S. cases of melanoma in 2025; The average onset age is 65 years but it can strike anyone from preteen to elderly. Melanoma is often lethal but, when found early, is curable in a short outpatient visit with no need for follow-up chemo or radiation. Since mid-June 2022 I have had the privilege of saving lives of Rotarians by presenting over 500 live Zoom presentations titled “Early Self-Detection and Prevention of Melanoma.”

I have devoted the past 25 years to educating adults and teen students about self-detection and prevention of melanoma. My bio and comments from Rotarians who have watched the presentation are posted at . ClubRunner may delete the link, if you don’t see it use skincheck(dot)org after replacing (dot) with a real dot, then click on “Rotary Clubs” at the top right of the home page. Including my presentation in a future scheduled meeting would be gretly appreciated. If you suggest some possible dates I’ll do my best to accommodate. You are welcome to contact me by email or phone with zero obligation. Thank you!
